Sushi E

So I had some time to kill before a meeting today, so I decided to randomly check out a sushi place in the area. The first place I walked by (that was open) was Sushi E. It’s a fairly small place, so I gathered they do mostly take out. There were quite a few people sitting at the tables outside though, and I found a spot along the window bar.

I ordered a sunomono (of course) and the Sushi E Roll. The service could have been better, I don’t think they spoke English very well, and they got orders confused a couple times.

The sunomono wasn’t bad, but it was a bit bland for my taste. What is it and bland sunomono lately?

The roll was delicious! Not quite Sushi Hyiori delicious, but pretty close. It was a variation of one of my favorite rolls, prawn tempura with spicy tuna sashimi on top. They used a different, creamier spicy sauce, which was a nice change. Over all it was a great roll, and one I would order again and again. For some reason they gave me my order to go, and the presentation was much nicer in the ‘for here’ dishes. Probably because they had proper plates!

My general review of Sushi E? I like it! The service could be better, but I will definitely go back if I’m in the area. It’s a nice little shop, and there’s lots of cheap and ‘safe’ options, even if you’re new to sushi.
